About Us207 Farms is owned and operated by childhood best friends Austin Bernard and Brett Whittemore of Dixfield, who both graduated from Dirigo High School in 2013. Austin studied botany and psychology at the University of Maine in Orono. His study of soil sciences and the benefit of a diverse soil food web has been applied creatively to the grow processes, which utilize fermented plant material from the company vegetable farm as well as the deep forests of Maine. This unique growing style ensures that our plants have an abundant, bioavailable source of all macro and micronutrients, allowing the plants to express nuanced terpene profiles that are simply unachievable using synthetic nutrients. Brett is finishing up his final year at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to get his doctorate in pharmacy. Brett is passionate about natural medicine and is excited to serve as a bridge for those who may be considering cannabinoid therapy. With a strong background in pharmacy, he will be able to address any concerns regarding potential interactions with prescription medication, as well as make recommendations regarding prescription medications that may be replaced or supplemented with cannabis to mitigate side effects. We will also be able to create personalized medication regimens utilizing specific cannabanoids and terpenes alongside other naturapathic remedies. Our mission is to unify Eastern and Western medicine to help patients find relief and prevent disease using the best of both worlds, while also working cohesively with nature to create a sustainable, regenerative practice that improves the soil instead of depleting it.
